Dear colleagues, dear friends!
Please accept my most sincere congratulations on our shared professional holiday – Russian Bar Day!
This day, which we celebrate on May 31st, has deep historical roots, tracing back to the great transformations in Russian justice. The history of our holiday is closely tied to the epochal Judicial Reform of 1864. It was then, over a century and a half ago, that the foundations of an independent bar were laid, dedicated to safeguarding the rights and freedoms of citizens, acting as an independent guarantor of justice. Being part of such a glorious and centuries-old tradition fills me with particular pride and great responsibility.
Reflecting on the rich history of our profession, I often recall my own path into advocacy. For me, it was not just a career choice, but a conscious decision to become part of a system where the law finds real embodiment, where there is an opportunity to genuinely help people, defend their rights, and fight for justice. It is a calling that demands complete dedication, continuous self-improvement, and an unwavering belief in what we do. It is this pursuit of justice and the desire to be a support for those in difficult life situations that has become my main guiding principle.
Our profession requires not only profound legal knowledge and continuous professional development but also an unwavering faith in justice, civic courage, and the highest dedication to our cause. Every day, we face complex challenges, but it is precisely this that makes our work truly important and valuable.
From the bottom of my heart, I wish each of you, dear colleagues, boundless energy to tackle the most complex tasks, professional success, and new brilliant victories in and out of the courtroom. May all your endeavors be justified, and may the trust of our clients never be betrayed. I wish you strong health, well-being for your families, and personal happiness.
Happy holiday, dear colleagues!
Sincerely, Anastasia Klimova Lawyer
